This enriching day trip introduces you to two of South Holland’s most important cities, beginning with a panoramic tour of The Hague, the royal city and political heart of the Netherlands. Drive past the Houses of Parliament, the historic Hall of Knights, which are all currently under renovations and the not to be missed iconic Peace Palace, gaining insight into Dutch history and governance along the way.
Next, continue to the picturesque city of Delft, forever associated with the 17th-century master painter Johannes Vermeer. Stroll through Delft’s charming Market Square, where you’ll have time to enjoy a casual lunch at leisure. The tour concludes with a visit to Royal Delft, the city’s last remaining 17th-century earthenware factory, famous for its blue-and-white Delftware.
